For a team that has yet to achieve large-scale profitability, these are real, daily expenses that require careful planning.
Second, and more importantly, it's a trade-off between "good enough" and "exceptional," and this goes to the heart of our quality control lifeline.
The quality of ZoliPet is something you can all see. This quality doesn't come from luck; it comes from our almost stubborn insistence on every single detail. Our team members aren't just customer service and operations staff; we are the first line of quality inspectors. At the same time, our upcoming new product is an innovation into which we have poured our entire hearts. A successful crowdfunding campaign demands 120% of our commitment—every dollar of our budget must be precisely allocated to the preparation and promotion of the new product; every member of our team must be fully engaged in the "battle" of communicating and interacting with our users.
We therefore face a very real choice:
Do we spread our limited energy thin, handling the daily sales and quality control of existing products while "making time" for the new launch, ultimately doing both things just "okay"? During this period, our commitment to all our old friends who already own a ZoliPet product will not change in the slightest. Our after-sales service will continue to operate at full capacity.
