Pro Tips from Real BuyersReally nice quality, and attractive! The tilted or level bowl option is nice. I like that the bowls fasten to the base, and the base is heavy enough to not push around too easily (for small animals, anyway), and is hard to overturn. It is easy to detach the bowls for filling and cleaning, though…a simple twist. My severely disabled relative has a bit of trouble with it, but it should not be a problem for most people, or folks with only moderate arthritis or neuropathy.
i purchased this raised bowl for my cat to replace the one that he was using. This is a sturdy option at the same height. It takes a minute to get the bowl oriented, but it is sturdy and secure once mounted on the stand. I use a smaller ceramic bowl inside the base and it works out fine. i havea finiky cat who does not like sainless steel looking back at him..... dont ask! he loves his new bowl and it releives the pressure on his neck. i am always trying to find things that improve the quality of his life in eating experience and this is one! highly recommend
The build quality is good for the bowls and made of stainless steel which is very easy to clean. Have used other feeling bowels in the past and the food just sticks to it making very difficult to clean. It is easy to remove and fix and give you two angles to fit in. I usually wet the tissue and scoop out the residue and then use a dry tissue to clean and dry. Its wide enough and good for feline with big whiskers.
Amazing steel bowls. I tried all sort of food bowls for my kitten and finally this one worked. I had the porcelain bowls with and without angle and a flat plate but she would stop eating sometimes because her chin or whiskers would touch the bowl. But this bowl is sufficiently large and angled that se eats well without stopping. Absolutely loved it. They are easy to clean as well.Thank you so much for making this bowl.

I am a fan of ZoliPet products: they cost more, but the engineering design and quality are well worth it. For example, PetKit’s stainless water fountain is easily ten times easier to clean and the water filtration is superb, as opposed to a cheaper, all plastic model I initially bought. The price is high, but it’s a game changer.
For reference, we have 5 cats: one 12, two 4 year olds, and 2 kittens. When offered a chance to try this bowl system, I accepted, as my plastic two bowl molded one-piece cheapie thing had gotten pretty beat up, and to be honest, wasn’t easy to clean anymore.
I’ve used this for a little less than a week, and I can recommend it for all cats. Here’s what I found:
1.) Quality: up to ZoliPet’s higher standards. Sturdy solid plastic frame, well-turned bowls with no finishing defects. There was a little dust on the frame, probably from packaging: easily wiped off, although I always do a quick wash on new food containers for cats anyway. (Not for mine, though, go figure!)
2.) Size: the platform is substantial but not overwhelming. It’s not dainty, and neither are my cats. The size actually catches most spills. It has a small lip around the edge of the plastic base that prevents most dry food from flying on the rest of the floor. Tiny Wet food particles will stick to the plastic as much as any other platform, so no difference there. The larger size may help the four rubber pads on the bottom keep their grip. And these pads aren’t the cheap kind that fall off.
3.) Bowl size and design. The bowls are a little larger than other bowls, having a more rounded base than the typical flat base. Because of the angle option, this meant I was able to use the usual portion size and not have it spill out. Yay!
4.) How the angle is achieved: so this is kind of cool. Both bowls are built like stand-mixer bowls: put the small “foot” underneath the bowl into the base’s hole and give a 1/4 turn and it’s “locked” in. Untwisting is easy for those of us with opposable thumbs, not cats. Even better, there are TWO settings! There is a second hole just below and overlapping with the first (so it looks like a figure 8, or a Venn Diagram), that can be used to set the bowls FLAT/LEVEL. That’s just cool. I used the flat for water and the angle for food, just for testing purposes, and no problems of uneven weight, spills, etc.
5.) Effects of the angle: so I’d be fine recommending this system if it were just flat, so the angle is an added bonus. I am no vet and my cats’ digestion is just fine overall, but the twelve year old regurgitates his food once every month or so, so I got this for him to see if it helps. We’ll see.
Now, there are some kittens born with a condition called Megaesophagus (go online and check this out) and having them eat at a raised angle is supposed to help. Again, I am NOT a vet: I just saw a video where a one-off system was made. This reminds me of it, and if it works, how cool that everyone who needs one can get one! That said, I don’t have a way to test this, but the concept is there.
There is only one problem if this is the concept: my cats swarmed, and the kittens actually ate from the Tall side! Thus defeating the purpose. There’s a common-sense fix to this: put it against against a wall. The older cats knew what was up and ate from the lower side. I just noticed this because I had it out in the middle of the room to see if it moved. My bad. What I’ll do now is make this the 12 year olds exclusive bowl and see if it helps. If I had just two cats, this wouldn’t be a problem.
Even if your cat doesn’t have an extreme medical issue, it’s a very good food bowl system with a lot of options and great quality. If you need a new bowl and want to get something that will last, I’d recommend this.
I bought these stainless steel pet bowls, because I kept dropping and breaking the ceramics ones. This definitely doesn’t have the issue of cracking.
I’ll have to use this more to see if it really is stainless, but so far so good!
I like that you can choose to have the bowls at a different angle, which is helpful for shorter dogs. The bowls are a bit on the smaller side, so it may not work for big dogs, but it works great for the amount of food I give my 17 lb dog.
It’s been working great for us and I love how minimalistic it looks. It’s also very easy to clean, so that’s also a plus!
Nice set. Looks clean and nice in feeding area. I prefer metal bowels because of the hype using plastic. I also think it cleans better.
Only negative is I wish bowels were at least one inch higher. My Brussels Griffon dog weighs about 10 lbs. His legs are not short for the breed.
UPDATE: I’m upgrading this review from 3 to 5 stars. After writing the original review, the company contacted me for more information about the problem. I provided a detailed description with photos and they responded quickly, saying a new base would be sent to me. Today I received the replacement, not just the base but a totally new unit with bowls. It works perfectly and I’m impressed with their excellent customer service.
Original Review: I bought this for the ability to tilt the bowls, and my cat really likes eating from them. However, one of the bowls has never locked into place properly. The base is plastic and the bowls are metal; I assume the problem is that they don’t line up properly. One bowl is fine, but the other doesn’t stay in place.
My dog was very excited to try this out and he really liked it. The bowls are shiny and very pretty. My only concern is that the base is plastic and lightweight the base tends to move around instead of staying in one place I wish it was made of a heavier material. Item was not fully stainless steel from top to bottom considering the price. The angle of the bowl is perfect. My dog is able to drink more water.
This worked very well when my cat was spayed and had to wear a donut around her neck. It made eating so much easier for her. She still uses it -- very easy to clean.
Really really REALLY nice. I love that you can screw it in and it’s magnetized so it’s not going anywhere.
Got this for my kitty that has to wear a cone, much easier to use when they’re angled (:
Better than expected! Sizing is perfect. Very amazed with this purchase.
Highly recommend.
Flat faced pups and Frenchie parents - these are the bowls for you! My little frenchie has always struggled to empty a bowl of food without help. She couldn't get into the crevice of her other bowls and I would have to scoop everything to the center over and over again. I just recently started looking for new bowls and this popped up as a recommendation. These bowls are great! They hold just enough food and water for a smaller dog (and assuming they'd work for cats) My pup is a gorgeous 25lbs and gets about one cup at meal time. The round bowl allows her to finish her food without our help getting kibble/food out of the corners. The holder cleans up easily too. I read some complaints about water spilling out and I haven't had this issue. I wish I discovered years ago!
The boys love it. You can adjust the tilt of the bowls. Another reviewer mentioned the bowl edges were sharp. I agree they are somewhat sharp but the cats don't encounter the edges when they feed. Has not been an issue for me yet, and I wash the bowls daily.
At first I wasn't sure about this when opening, like reviews mentioned the base doesn't have the feel that you may imagine from the pictures, it's pretty lightweight, it's not cheap plastic, but you feel it could be something more substantial, metal even, though that would jump the price somewhat. Then I wasn't sure about the bowls, the rims felt sharp and twisting the bowls in and out wasn't super comfortable. However once I started to use it day to day, I really started to appreciate the design, especially over my previous solution of having 2 separate bowls. Now I can just pick up the whole thing, take to the sink, wash, and fill the bowls. You don't really have to take the bowls out, I do it maybe once a week, and now I know how to without feeling those sharp edges, once I got used to the twisting, it's actually pretty easy.
We have a silicon mat, and haven't found any issue with the bowls slipping around so far, in that regard its sturdy enough, and visually it looks good, you only notice the material when you pick it up.
Initially I was concerned about the bowls being so close together, our 2 cats can be somewhat frenemies and a bit territorial when it comes to food, but so far had no issues with the bowls being close.
A few more color options or maybe the option for a metal base, and it'd be an easy 5 stars for me. Otherwise if you like the look of it, and want an all in one dual bowl option, this is an easy recommendation. The option to tilt the bowls is great, I have noticed far less throwing up than before, don't know if I can attribute that solely to the bowls, but something to point out.
I ended up getting these after trying the NeaterFeeder which didn’t work out. I love that these have a simpler design, they do not slip or move around, the height is perfect for my small 10 pound terrier mix, and it allows my dog to eat much easier without getting food all over the floor or walls. The tilt is an awesome feature and it’s nice to have a regular non-tilt option built in as well.
The bowls are dishwasher safe and are easy to pop into place once you’ve done it a couple of times. I highly recommend!
Well made - perfect for cats that like the lick their food up the side of the bowl, now there is no more mess outside of the bowl.
After watching how my cats ate for awhile I figured out what the optimal height would be for them to eat without straining themselves so much (one of my cats gets on the feeble side at times and; he needs every bit of extra love he can get.) I looked at a lot of products similar to this, but their height was always too tall (seemingly, built for the needs of dogs despite being labeled for cats.) The bowls I got here are perfect. They have the posture to eat with minimal straining.
I got my aging dog something similar that was appropriate for his build, and he seemed to really like it (no more wobbling to stoop down to eat.) So, I really believe that cats & dogs both do better with tilted/raised bowls. Pets don't have words to express themselves; we must listen to their body language to hear what they say. I'm well pleased with the makers of the cat bowls.
Works well. Seems to do well for our cat that easily throws up right after eating. 🙄
We ordered this for the feral cat our late dog, Zoey more or less 'adopted' just about a month before she passed. ;-(
We had been feeding the cat out of small glass bowls and needed something more substantial that we could put out on the porch. It'd working just fine. The design is nice in that it is slanted downward, which makes it easy for the cat to feed from it.
So yes, I'd recommend this as a good choice for feeding your cat.
I live for this bowl. It’s easy to clean, easy for my medium sized dog to use. It makes his room still look nice even though feeding can be very messy. It’s never fallen off the stand. It’s unlikely to spill. It’s just a really good product. I would buy again with a quickness.
I have been looking for a new pair of bowls for our small dog. She is 10 lbs and I love that we can adjust the position of the bowls for easy access.
These bowls are aesthetically pleasing but have a cheap feel. The base is made of plastic which is not the most durable, but given the size, one wouldn’t typically expect these to be abused so they would serve the purpose of feeding smaller pets. Because they are lightweight, the male kitten in the house is able to move them around while trying to get fallen pieces of kibble from around them.
The stainless-steel bowls are lightweight. They are two pieces, a bowl with an undetachable part that screws into the plastic base. My fear is that the base will strip out with the constant removal and resetting of the bowls when they are fed each day.
The bowls are placed so closely together that sometimes food gets in the water bowl making it unappealing to the cats who like their water from a bowl.
We’ve only been using them for six days now and so far, the cats have not experienced any vomiting with the level of elevation this provides. That’s a win in itself. They were not hesitant about using the bowls and took to them immediately. I pray these are more durable than they appear to be because I really like them.
Cat luvs the bowls , no more sliding around , easier to ear from
Perfect feeding solution so my 2 cats can eat from their own bowl. I’m probably going to order another one for their water.
Totally pleased with this product. After reading an article that explained how the inevitable scratches in a plastic food bowl can be a source of bacteria if not thoroughly scrubbed out (possibly causing more scratches), and recommending the use of stainless steel bowls instead, it made sense to me. I've been using the same double-sided plastic bowl since I rescue my cat 5 years ago, and indeed, it was filled with tiny scratches, most probably caused by chopping up his pate soft food in the bowl with a spoon. The description of this item also made sense. Having the bowls tilted at a 15 degree angle allowed him to eat without bending his neck, allowing the food to go into his stomach easier, and thus helping in digestion. On occasion I've come across some throw up that mostly contained solid kibble, almost as if the food was collecting in his throat while eating, and not even getting anywhere close to his stomach. I've yet to experience any of this since using the ZoliPet. The base is solidly constructed, and the rubber stoppers in the bottom corners anchor the base nicely to the tile floor. The bowls are easily removed for cleaning with a slight twist, and a slight twist secures them back in place. They can be secured in either the tilted position, or horizontally, if wanted.
Overall, this is a wonderful item. I thought my cat, being picky like most cats, would possibly have issues with adjusting to a new bowl setup. No way. He took to it happily right from the first feeding.
These bowls look great and are very good quality. It is easy to put them in the stand and then twist and lock them into place. I saw some reviews where people said they had a problem with that part. I think maybe people are over tightening when they twist. I have not had any problem getting them in or taking them out. The bowls are made of stainless steel and they are very easy to clean. My dog used to get food everywhere when he ate, I don’t have that problem now. My dog is 20 lbs and gets a 1/2 cup of food twice a day. Even the smaller size of these bowl seems big when his food is in it, but maybe that’s why I don’t have a mess anymore when he eats. The bowls are really good for giving him enough water though! The stand is also good looking, and way to clean. All in all, this is a really great product!
Two cats, one likes to tip over the water bowl, daily. This product solves that problem, excellent! The bowls twist in place with an easy turn, so the cat can't move it and tip it over.
Honestly the height should probably be a little higher to have the digestion benefit you look for in tilted elevated cat bowls , BUT my kittens have not managed to spill anything a single time since I got these bowls. That makes life soooooo much easier. I’d say it’s good quality , can hold more than a cup of food easy with the depth of the one I got. Good design overall.
Though I was sure I was going to get this particular bowl set, I was kind of expecting that the bowls would be difficult to remove and replace. I was very wrong. Once you remove the bowls from the stand (to remove the plastic), it's very easy to see that there are two spots to lock in the box: one for a tilted bowl and one for a level bowl. Also very nice to have the choice of leveled still. You barely have to turn the bowl to lock in (clockwise) or remove (counterclockwise). I even have the water bowl tilted and there is no issue of the water spilling out, as long as I don't try to fill to the very brim.
One of my cats always had a weird habit of shaking his head after picking up some kibble, which would result in kibbles falling out of his mouth and scattered all around the bowl area. For some reason, he's stopped doing that since switching over to this bowl set. I expected both cats to be apprehensive about the new bowls, but they don't care at all and seem to like them. They're very clearly not craning their necks now.
As others have mentioned, there is a print on the inside of the bowl which I assume to be an indicator of the material used. It's very small and not bothersome at all. We've only had this bowl set for a week so we'll see how they hold up over time, but it seems like they'll last and continue to be in good shape for a long time.
My poor kitty had to have his eye removed due to glaucoma, so he has to wear a cone for two weeks. I’ve never had an animal with a cone before but oh my goodness. He’s very unbalanced as it is because he’s getting used to one eye, so imagine the headache with water and food bowls, and then add the cone around his head. This product makes it so he can get his head in easily around the bowl with the cone, and the bowls are tightened so he can’t spill it. The bottom has little silicone pads so it doesn’t move on hardwood either. I’m so glad this shipped in one day, because he spilled his water bowl at least four times in one day. And since he’s having a hard time seeing, he’s constantly searching around for his bowls and this helps tremendously to hold them in place. If you have a cat with a cone (or will be getting a cone) get this nooow!!!
Keeps my kitty from spilling her water just as I hoped.
Since I've gotten this, my cat now no longer gets sick after having a meal. I was reccomended this for her and its like night and day. I should of done this sooner. I just ordered another one for my other kitty, she doesn't have an issue but I feel like this elevated position of the bowls is just better overall for them. I would 100% reccomend to any cat owner!
I recently got a new puppy and he kept flipping over his water and food bowls. I have a smaller cockapoo (under 18lbs) so I wanted to keep smaller bowls but ones that would not easily flip over. The quality and sturdiness is there. You get two stainless steel bowls and a plastic base.
With the ease of a twist, the bowls are ready for cleaning by removing them from the base.
If you’re looking for small and affordable, I think you will be satisfied with your purchase here.
This cat bowl is solid and straightforward. It’s easy to use, holds up well, and gets the job done without any fuss.
Love that these are metal, no worries about retaining odors or bacteria. Also love the tilt and width of these bowls.. seems to provide for better posture while eating while the width doesn't smash whiskers.
Lots of reviewers had issues with the base snapping off and that was a concern for us prior to purchase. Well, we're pretty handy and decided to just be gentle. So, I've removed the bowls daily for washing and just don't (and don't need to) twist too hard when putting them back on. So far, so good for the month they've been in use. Still, should the base break off, it looks as though that could be easily repaired with a little epoxy or a good glue (would probably go with JB Weld, and who knows, the repair might be better than original.) All that said, for the time we've had them, there is no sign of weakening.
I love how the balls fit into place snuggly so they don’t move. Such a nice idea.
DO IT!! I will go ahead and save you the research! EASY SETUP. If you read reviews or watch the video that says it doesn't lock in...well I think has more to do with the person assembling rather than the product, sorry to say. I searched for a couple days for the perfect elevated/raised kitty bowls! I didn't know if I wanted them to be separate or one unit. I didn't know if I wanted ceramic or silver! After much I thought I decided on this set and I do not regret it one bit. My cat is almost 16 years old and I'm attempting to make the best of the rest of her life! Shes got very little teeth left so on top of the tender dry kibble I give her to graze on all day I serve her broth type wet food/bisque twice a day to make sure she gets as much protein as she can. I put dry kibble in one side and wet food in the other and she's a set! I've never been able to keep her water near her food cause she likes to play splash. She loves it!!! Shes pretty dang finicky too and was not hesitant to her new dishware. Overall very impressed with the easy clean and sleek look. Again JUST DO IT! Go ahead and buy it!
I ordered 6 of these for my cats, they like to swim before they drink which has made a mess for years. These bowls have worked, even on carpet my cats are not tipping them over!
These bowls are perfect for my cats. The bowls are a great quality stainless steel. They are easy to put on the base and remove…can be done with one hand with no issues. I use them both slanted and flat with both positions doing what I need. I already ordered some extra bowls. Great value and the height works fine for my cats.
These dog bowls look great, very sleek. They don’t slip at all when your dog is eating. I have 4 frenchies and they are the perfect height for them. Definitely worth the money!!
We have two cats, and one is susceptible to hairballs and vomiting from anxiety/stress eating.
I keep one set for each cat, and purchased the extra bowls. One bowl in the set holds dry food, and the second their daily ration of canned food.
One morning I had forgotten to wash their extra bowls, so I used the old bowls that sit directly on the floor to put the canned food in.
Now these two felines normally circle the bed like sharks in the early hours of the morning demanding food. And when I get up its like running from landlocked pirahnas until I give them their canned food.
So back to putting their canned food in their old bowls... I got stares that threatened death and they refused to eat their most sacred of foods out of the old bowls. I was shocked. So I washed their new bowls and put the food in them. My limbs are still in tact and the cats were pleased.
All silliness aside, my cats love them and it has helped with my little tortie point siamese whom is prone to hairballs and stress eating. And yes, they really do refuse to eat their food out of other bowls. They aren't spoiled or anything, I promise. ;)
I watched one of my girls eat out of these this morning. Her neck and body are in perfect alignment. Both of my Bengal girls have issues with regurgitation. These are very nicely made, sturdy, and the bowls are easy to adjust at a straight or raised angle. So far very impressed and would recommend these. I will be watching my girls over the next week to see if it improves with vomiting issues. I purchased another set last week and had to return it because the bowls were very small. These balls are perfect size, stainless steel. Very easy to clean and take apart. The platform stays put and it’s also very sturdy. I bought one set for each of my girls.
They are a bit territorial, and like to eat separately.
These bowls are perfect for your furry baby who has lost their front teeth. It is easy for them to eat their meals since it is slanted forward and the bowl is rounded. Would recommend.
I PURCHASED THIS BOWL SET THAT HAS THE ABILITY TO TILT FOR MY LITTLE DOG WHO HAS AN ISSUE WITIH TRACHEAL COLLAPSE AND THIS TILT HAS GREATLY HELPED. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL, STURDY, WELL DESIGNED WITH QUALITY MATERIALS. IT IS SUPER EASY TO ASSEMBLE, AND CLEAN. YOU CAN EITHER HAVE THE BOWLS TILT OR NOT TILT. LOOKS SUPER CLEAN AND KEEPS FOOD AND WATER IN THE BOWL.
Works great my cat love it
My husband mistook the sizevavd ordered for my dog!
My cat got lucky and she uses them. Neat, simple, classy , functional, light and easy to adjust. Would recommend.
i've used all kinds of bowls over time for my 2 cats. plastic (until i learned it was the reason for cat acne), raised, tilted, small, big, ceramic, glass, stainless steel, you name it. but this thing is awesome. my one cat eats from left to right in his bowl and my other cat eats from the top and yells at me if any part of the bottom of the bowl starts to show. they now each have their own bowl in this thing and they are just so dang happy, munchin away. cheers to this thing, it's super easy to clean and the tilting feature is super cool too!
Great Product! Smooth Transaction!
My cat likes it!
Decent set for small dog. Like a really really small dog. Like a dog so small you could throw it like a baseball.
I love everything about these bowls, mostly of the fact that you were able to Adjust the bowls For the comfort of the cat-These balls are super sturdy and they’re actually pretty big in size which is nice when you have a fat lazy cat-I think they definitely bang because they are stainless steel, which is definitely an upgrade from ceramic or plastic or anything. You’re feeding your cat in.
Buddy’s had these bowls for more since 9/4. He has a history of vomiting and his recent bouts prompted the purchase. Stainless steel bowls are good for his chin acne. We placed some treats in his food for the 1st time to make sure there were no issues with him rejecting the bowls.
Virtually no food splatter leaving the area dramatically cleaner allowing us to soon remove splatter screen we’ve had in place for many years. He eats for shorter periods of time rather than inhaling his food.
He only had 2 incidents of vomiting about 2 weeks apart, but it was mostly wet food, not dry food in the left bowl. After observation we found he was eating his wet food standing off the mat from the side of the bowl, defeating the purpose of the tilt. Added a partition to keep him from eating from the wrong side. Voilà!
Received 2 replacement bowls today making it easy to always have a clean bowl ready for feeding.
This is a nicely made and sturdy cat feeder. Well designed and just the right size. On to the caveat, the cat is terrified of it. I washed it and put some of the cat's food in it, but when the cat approched and saw it, he leaped a couple of feet in the air and took off. Being a cat, he came back out of curiosity and proceeded to take five minutes of "two steps forward, one step back" cautious approch until close enough to get a good look at it. Then he ran out of the room at full speed and wouldn't come back. I have no idea why he reacted that way to it but he still won't come anywhere near it. As far as I can tell, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this product and just chalk up my cat's rejection to his particular cat weirdness. I will find someone with a less crazy cat to give it to.
We have two kittens (along with the mom) and I wanted food dishes that were angled and easy to clean. This turned out to be the perfect item to get. Both cats have chosen their sides and I’ve noticed ever since getting the titled bowls, they eat more and it seems to be easier for them. The bowls simple twist off and then you can just put them in some hot water and any stuck on food comes off pretty easily. Plus, not only does it work really well for them, it also looks really nice too. For the price, you really can’t beat it.
Loved these bowls I would get them every time !
I've been really pleased with this arrangement. It looks great and is user-friendly. I would suggest considering the purchase of additional bowls.
I was looking for a good bowl combo for both food and water for my cats. I know how important it is for it to be off the ground and at a height easy for them to eat from and this set did all that and some. When I opened the package I was amazed at how sturdy it felt. The base allows you to have the bowls either at an angle or straight up and down. My cats love it and it's nice to see them not fully hunched over trying to eat out of the bowls.
This dog bowl works great for my small dog. She can eat without any problem. It is also very sturdy.
Very cutesy + demure
This is a great set and the angle is great. Easy to remove.
However, my dog wanted nothing to do with it. It’s not the bowls. Guess he’s just a creature of habit and wouldn’t eat till I gave him back his original bowl…lol
If your dog isn’t finicky, he/she will probably love it. I’ll be donating it to our local shelter, which is fine.
Easy to clean. Detachable. Wish they would make an elevated version of these with a slant on bowl.
I needed one of these for my 4 cats.
They love it and will be getting one more...
great value and great purchase
I love it so far, I was a litte nervous if she’ll be able to reach her food since she’s a kitten i don’t feed a lot of wet food and she’s able to reach it. I use hard food & wet food for both bowls
I never write reviews, but today after refilling my cats food and watching him eat, I realized how amazing this thing was. This solved a lot of problems for me:
- I use to give him a single bowl and he’d flip it over when he does his ‘scratch and hide my food after eating it’ routine. Everytime. And I’m not looking forward for my roomba to pass by it and grab all the food one day when I forget to pick it up. This thing is freaking sturdy.
- This keeps both things together, which was originally a concern because some cats don’t like their food and water in close proximity. My guy adapted from day one.
-It rotates in and stays in.
-These bowls are really well made. Honestly was expecting cheap metal hybrids.
My Frenchie loves his, especially at the office where he performed his mascot duties.
This cat food/water bowl works very well for my single cat. I bought it because we did some renovating/redecorating, and I wanted something that wouldn’t be an eyesore in the room. It is sleek and tidy looking and matches our decor.
Some commenters’ cats had some trouble adjusting to the shiny stainless steel bowls, but my cat ate happily the first time I used it. No problem. I actually love the stainless steel’s clean look, and I know after volunteering in a shelter where disease spreads like wild fire that its non-porous surface is the most hygienic.
I was looking for a raised, tilted bowl for my 17-year-old guy who is getting a little rickety. This fits the bill.
Some commenters indicated their bowls were hard to remove or attach. I have no such trouble and didn’t from the first feeding.
The price point was very reasonable compared to other such bowls.
We and our cat are very happy with this purchase.
Our furbaby Casey has been throwing up undigested dry food for a while. I read that a tilted bowl may be help with that. Thank God I followed through and purchased this! Casey hasn't thrown up since we've switched him to this bowl. Granted that's only been for about 5 days but considering he threw up every day this is an answer to prayer. It's a bit on the pricy side but I love the modern look and that it's actually solving a problem. Its worth every penny in my opinion.
Also, this is worth mentioning, the bowls do in fact lock into place so its definitely sturdy. I saw someone post a video shaking the base and the bowls were jumping around as though there were an earthquake happening. Either they had a faulty unit or they didn't secure the bowls properly because I haven't had an issue of the bowls moving around.
Highly recommended!
We use it for our cat. She loves it. Sturdy. Fast to clean
I recently purchased this bowl for my kitty particularly because she's been pushing her single bowls around and spilling her food and water everywhere. I even tried buying a silicone non moving pet placemat for her and she still managed to make a mess! This product is absolutely perfect for her!! The size is just right for her and it for the most past stays in place. It has 2 different settings for the bowls .. you can either have them flat at a regular angle or slightly turned [which is what I use for her,
so that she can access her food easier]. The bowls can easily be removed by unscrewing them and the product is easy to clean. My kitty even seems to like this bowl much better than the numerous alternatives that I've purchased for her over the past few months!! Thank you so much for this product .. we both love it!!
Great design, especially for avoiding whisker fatigue. My boy cat is very food-driven and practically inhales his meals......which has led to him puking it back up shortly after eating. The increased height of his dish has so far prevented that 'scarf and barf' scenario from happening. All in all, I give this item 2 thumbs up!!
I also want to address a video in a separate review on here, in which the buyer is shaking the base and the bowls are bouncing all over the place. That video is misleading and the owner obviously did not read the directions! It's pretty simple, really.......after you fill the bowl and put in on the base, take a second to rotate the dish / screw it into place, and you will notice immediately that the dish is secure. Reading is important, folks, just sayin'.
I have always had a problem with my one cat vomiting undigested food. My vet told me she was probably eating too fast. I stumbled upon an ad on FB stating the bowl position was the reason for cats vomiting. Bowls resting on the floor put their neck at an odd angle and can cause acid reflux. The bowls in the add came from China and it was COVID-19 time. So off to Amazon to search and I found these. I’ve used them for about 2 weeks and my cat has not vomited once! It was almost a daily occurrence prior to purchasing these! I did have to rest their old bowls inside these to get them to eat. But after a few days I could put the food directly into these bowls and they did not complain.
This performs as described. I think it has helped my vomiting cat but he is a long haired cat and it didn't eliminate it, so keep expectations realistic. I do believe this is an improvement for older cats.
Definitely a great purchase. My cats love them . And they are so easy to clean
It is outstanding bowls!
Absolutely wonderful bowls for my fur babies. I appreciate the option to tilt the bowls or keep them upright. One of my cats is older and the tilted bowls really help his ability to access the food. Your company was so thoughtful to add a special gift for the cats. They love it!
Kind of pricey but not enough to where I wouldn't order a second one (which I did) and then another single bowl (which I also did). Our cats absolutely love these way more than floor dishes. All 5 of them :) They like it angled and not angled but when angled, the weird thing is some of them like to eat from what I would consider that wrong end (the higher end). SUPER easy to assemble.
This allows my cat to get to the food better. Also, doesn’t upset and is easy to clean.
Our cat likes it.
I really like it and so does my cat. She is 14 years old and those were her new bowls. I really like that I can use it normally or tipped. Tipped is perfect for the old lady.
This bowl set has limited their vomiting of a dry food they love and apparently eat too fast and then vomit.
I am not using a "Slow Down" feeding set because they need all the food they can ingest and their attention spans usually don't last very long. The stainless tilted bowls are easy to clean and the tilt is easy to change or always use.
This set has a Five Star rating in my house.
Every cat I’ve had did their best to eat neatly as they’re fastidious creatures, but trying to eat canned pet food means they end up pushing it around until stuff inevitably spills. I bought little placemats and then used parchment paper to try and catch the pieces. Or the melamine bowl I had was too light and that would get pushed around the floor and scatter more pieces. Sometimes, especially for the most recent cat I’ve been feeding, I would have to turn his food bowl around so that all the food that got pushed to the far end would be close to his reach again and he could finish. I was excited when I saw brother-in-law has this in his home, so I bought one, too. Easy to clean, easy to keep the feeding area clean, no whisker fatigue, ergonomic for their posture
There's nothing that I don't like about these cat bowls. They're easy to clean. They stay in place. They can't be turned over. The best feature, though, is that, as promised, they prevent vomiting. I doubted this and was delighted to find it to be true. One cat tended to gobble his food and immediately regurgitate much of it. This hasn't happened at all since I purchased these bowls. Makes me very happy!
Got five sets. The cats haven’t missed any meals. These work fine, apparently. They like the new elevation, I appreciate being able to sweep up the spillage.
These bowls are perfect. They are very stable. My girl can’t tip them over even though she tries every single day.
I took in a stray kitten and she is extremely a messy girl when it comes to her water. I tried every heavy bowl I could find and she would always mange to spill it. I purchased this and so far so good. She hasn't spilled it yet. Would highly recommend for those fur babies that enjoy making messes.
I bought this because my two cats are fighting about who gets their way about what type of bowl they get. 🙄 I have one who likes wide open bowls like pie tins (Gwynevere) and the other hates everything (Gideon). If Gideon eats out of any type of bowl, container, plate he will push it over, cover it up for 15 minutes and throw up. I tried to change to a tall bowl so he couldn’t knock it over, but then Gwynevere hated it and threw up and Gideon still knocked it over. Finally I came across this. Gwynevere absolutely adores it and hasn’t thrown up once, the tilted bowls are doing wonders for her. Gideon is doing better but he still is trying to knock it over but isn’t having as much success. The price point was great, the warranty was wonderful. Durability is fabulous (especially with these two.) I’m happy with my purchase.
Meow cat, who I am not, is the most important thing in meow life. I, a human, would do anything she asks of meow. She demanded that I order another of these food bowl sets. And then another. And then another. Soon, meow basement was rightfully full of bowls. And what are bowls for? To be filled. All day, all night, meow cat who I am not a cat makes meow fill the bowls. If one is ever empty, I am to be punished. My punishment? Buy more food bowl sets. Spread them to the main floor. Then to the second floor. One day, perhaps behind. There are no boundries in meow cat's world. She says jump, and I say "how many food bowl sets will it be today, ma'am".
Anyway, the bowls are great. Just make sure to keep your human, me, a human and not a cat, in line. Remember: you're in charge. Never let them forget that.
Our Sadie girl is a healthy 3 year old gray tabby. The one issue she seems to always have is inhaling her food and therefore vomiting it up every time she eats. I talked to my veterinarian and she said to look into a food bowl that is angled which will aid in her digestion. I immediately went on to Amazon and found the KatSupreme bowl. I told my husband if this works and Sadie doesn't throw up for an entire month...I will be not only ecstatic but review the product which I almost never write reviews. It has been officially a month since I ordered this bowl and not once has Sadie had digestive issues. She eats slower, she digests all of her food and the best thing is, I don't have to stress about vomit spots all over my white carpet. The bowl is super easy to set up, easy to clean, and the price is perfect. I can't thank ZoliPet enough for this product and I recommend to all owners of small to medium size cats that are having issues with digestion. It also comes with a bonus toy (we received a little blue mouse) that has become Sadie's favorite toy. Thank you KatSurpreme! My family and fur baby is beyond grateful for this product 🐱❤🐾🐾
Great design well made . My older cat has a hard time getting the food out of the corners of a regular cat dish … no more … problem solved.
So far so good!
First, I thought the black would look cheap so I was hesitant to buy this. I am so glad I did!!!! Also, the base is non-skid which is a surprising benefit for me. I’m used to my traveling bowls bc the cats push them around when eating and licking out of them. Nice that these stay exactly where I put them.
The instructions were a little confusing, but I figured it out. It will take some getting used to before I will be able to smoothly insert the bowls and have success on the first try. That’s one kinda drawback, BUT, at least the bowls ARE secure once you get them screwed in right. (Update: a week later this is much easier now!)
My oldest cat seems to like it a lot! She’s 14 years old. (Pictured for size comparison of bowls)
I like the round shape of the bowl, in the bottom of the dish. My old cat needs gavy wet food and I noticed she gets all the gravy out of this bowl. That’s better than our old bowls that were flat on the bottom where the gravy spreads out too thin. So I really like the design of the bowl itself. It’s also wide so kitties with whisker sensitivities are able to get their heads in the bowls.
Overall, I am really glad to have it and think the price is quite fair. Great value! But I have 4 cats so I need to get a second one now!
Our fluffy boy Stuart Little (aka Stewie, Mr. Fluffy Pants, TooToo, MewMew, boss kitty, etc.) has this problem where he eats hims wet food like it’s the first time he’s eaten in weeks. He eats and eats and then vomits everything up. I’m really hoping these adorable little bowls help with that, we’ll see…but I wanted to share how nicely packaged this came, with a thank you note and a little gift for the cute jerk. I love what the company is doing, and you can tell they’re also kitty lovers. I’ll update my review after a few munch sessions, but I’m almost certain this will be a game changer for Stewie. Thank you!
I bought this bowl because I wanted to make it easier for an elderly cat to keep her nose out of the water. Unfortunately, I had a very difficult time getting the bowls to secure at an angle. Now it sits in a closet because it doesn't work for me. I will donate to a shelter, maybe they will be able to use it. A few days after my review, ZoliPet contacted me, and gave me a refund. I was so impressed with pride the owners of ZoliPet demonstrated toward their product, that the next time I need a product, I will check out if KatSupreme manufactures it! I have changed my rating to a 5 star rating. I love a company that stands behind what it makes!!!
I adopted a really tall/long cat. Long legs and rather long neck. She did not look super comfortable eating. While she had not had any issues with eating that some cats have, I bought this for her comfort. She looks like it's at a comfortable level now. I love that you can have it flat or have it tilt. My cat is an enthusiastic eater and she cleans the bowl with almost no spillage. I usually tilt her bowl, and I have found her in loaf position in front of her food, contentedly eating her meal.
It is sturdy and the stainless steel of the bowls is so easy to clean/maintain. The only thing that would make this better is to have the ability to buy extra bowls. My cat eats wet food and sometimes she is impatient to get her food while I am still cleaning her bowl.
I also have a kitten and she loves the little toy that was in the box too.
Small base but fairly large bowls. They lock into place which is helpful with a mischievous kitten that loves to play in water!! So far, no spills. Considering buying another to replace my other tilted bowl. The free cat toy was a nice touch as well.
It is a lot more convenient than my cats plastic bowls I thought I’d change them for these since I read that it is a lot healthier I like that I can change their position and they sit higher up. It was super easy to set up and they seem a lot easier to clean.
Cat: "Om nomnomnom snarf om om gobble slurp nom smack narf nomnomnom!"
Me: ....
Cat: "Blorble Hurk! Hurk! Bleaargghhh!"
Me: "Why do I even feed you?!?!"
We have that one cat who insists on pounding down his wet food and then scouring all the other food bowls (whether or not anyone else is still eating out of them) and then then upchucking seeming his entire bodyweight in partially-digested gooshy food about three minutes later.
Yeah. That gets old.
I got a set of these bowls and that has definitely reduced the problem. I can't say it's eliminated it because he still goes around and eats out of the more conventional bowls, but it really makes a difference. And, this week, one of our cats had surgery meaning that he's wearing the plastic Cone of Shame. He can eat out of this bowl no problem .
The design is brilliant in its simplicity and it does the job of raising the bowl itself as well as giving you the option to angle it (as we have).
Even better, we had one bowl fail on us, and I contacted ZoliPet. They had a reply ON A WEEKEND, and had a new bowl on its way right after that. Corey definitely provides top notch customer service!
I'll be buying a few more of these.
We have several Persians with very flat faces, these tilted bowls make it so much easier for them and because they’re tilted less food gets pushed over top!
We liked the first set and bought a second.
Bought two of these for 11 cats. They're fed free choice and have a water fountain, so thought I'd give this a try instead of the giant casserole dish I'd been using.
First, the info I always need: each bowl will hold a bit more than one cup of small round kitty kibble when not tilted, so technically could've gotten away with just one set but like them not having to wait if they don't want to (I use a 1-cup scoop and overfill the scoop, these bowls hold it easily).
Second: very nice construction, especially for the price. Not fancy, but sturdy and well designed. Set up the first one next to their big dish, they immediately went for these.
Third: THERE WAS A CAT TOY IN THE BOX! Did not expect this - the furballs and I thank you!
Finally: totally worth it for me and for them. If you're on the fence for a multi-cat situation, go for it. These are great!
This buy is perfect being able to tip the bowls down so it's easier for my cat to eat out of it and it does keep the food from overflowing. I love the stainless steel bowls to keep the water cool longer. It's very easy to take the bowls in and out of!! 10 Stars!!!
The setup for these bowls is easy and you can adjust to tilt for your animal. I also want to say that the packaging was top notch and they even give you a little toy. Sorry to spoil the surprise. I'll buy these again
Product is exactly what I was looking for. Quality. Light weight. Cats love the tilted bowls
I got this for my cat with an overbite. It's tough for him to get into the corners of regular bowls. The shape and angle of this is perfect for him.
Also, the little blue rattle rat toy that comes with it is his favorite thing. He's been carrying it around for months. I got him different colored rattle rats but he doesn't like them as much as this blue one.
I am so pleased with this product. Every dish I used (and I've tried every shape and size) only resulted in them making a huge mess all over the floor. Not so with these dishes. Hardly a crumb gets on the floor. My cats appear to love it. I tilt the dishes and it's purrrfect! Very sturdy and beautifully made. Highly recommend this if you want happy kitties!
I just rescued two kittens and wanted to start things off right with an ergonomic, stainless steel eating bowls. My search was answered with these bowls by ZoliPet. So easy to set up, clean, and maintain. I love that I can sterilize them better than with plastic bowls. My kittens are eating better thanks to the tilt. Very little kibble to clean up after they eat—more kibble ends up in their mouths and stomachs, not on the floor. I wish they sold extra bowls to have on hand to exchange clean for dirty, perhaps as a bundle. But I highly recommend these raised bowls and stand, and I highly recommend the company. I recently emailed their customer service with a question and they were very courteous, helpful, and generous.
This stays in place and she cannot spill or knock it over. Great item
Kittens/Cats don't like their whiskers to touch their bowls. You can position these bowls to your kitten/cats to their liking. 😊
My cat has been tipping over her water bowls. She sticks her foot in or around them and dump them over. I’ve had all kinds of holders and all kinds of bowls. When this arrived, I thought it was too lightweight to do the trick, but it seems to work. She can’t tip it over, or at least she doesn’t. Yay!
I'm so glad I purchased the bowl set, my cat also likes it. The bowl set came with a little cat toy, which was a very pleasant surprise. My Itty also like the toy, he played with it for quite a while, carried it around the house with him. This was a very nice purchase and I will recommend the bowl set to my friends.
